Powerrun Project Management Ltd is a successful and profitable £5-million turnover privately owned business supplying fabricated carbon and stainless steel process pipework systems and on-site mechanical installation services predominantly into the UK water and sewage industry. In addition we also fabricate tanks, vessels, bespoke structures and have a thriving specialist fastener division.

Due to retirement we require immediately an experienced time served fabricator welder for a busy and expanding pipework fabrication workshop. Applicants MUST have experience of pipework fabrication 50mm to 3000mm diameter in both carbon and stainless steel materials. Applicants MUST have extensive welding skills and experience and be capable of achieving coded status to approved procedures in both carbon and stainless steel materials to BS EN287 and/or ASME IX A working knowledge of TIG and MIG Solid/Flux Cored wire processes is needed. The basic working week is 40-hours with overtime available for the foreseeable future. All overtime is paid at time and one half and annual holiday entitlement is 28-days.

Sales Development Engineer
In line with our ambitious expansion plans we need to recruit an experienced and proactive Business Development Engineer to grow our existing market share within our established industry sector and also develop sales of our products and services into other equipment manufacturers and business streams.

Ideal candidates will have a fabrication, engineering or water industry sales background and be educated to HND / Degree level or equivalent. It would also be beneficial to have established contacts within the civil, construction, water, process and / or other industry sectors. IE Nuclear, Brewing, Mining, chemical, Process etc..

Good IT skills including Excel and Microsoft Office / Outlook are preferable as is the ability to prepare technical quotations and interpret client supplied drawings and specifications. A working knowledge of AutoCAD would also be beneficial but not essential.

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills are required as well as the ability to establish and expand working relationships with new and existing clients.

The role will be 50/50 office and on-the-road based and the salary range is flexible and open to negotiation for the right person. This is an important appointment and it is envisaged that the position will develop significantly as the business moves forward. A company vehicle or car user allowance will also be provided.
